As Experimental Nurse Team Leader, Amelia is responsible for the professional and operational leadership of the clinical research nursing team.
Through coordinated oversight, staff development and adherence to clinical research governance standards, Amelia ensures safe, compliant and high-quality delivery of the NIHR King’s Clinical Research Facility trial portfolio. This includes leading on all unblinded Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP) preparation and overseeing the administration of investigational therapies.
Amelia is passionate about staff development, providing structured teaching and mentoring for her team. She also supervises the student nurse placements at the NIHR King’s Clinical Research Facility, ensuring they align with learning objectives and positively contribute to their development as future nurses.
