Team Leaders

Amelia is the clinical lead for CAR-T cell therapy trials and other Advanced Therapy Investigational Medicinal Products (ATIMPs) trials such as gene therapies, stem cell products, and GMO therapies taking place at the NIHR King’s Clinical Research Facility.

As Lead Nurse for ATIMP Research, she manages the preparation and safe administration of investigational products and coordinates patient screening, consent, and enrolment into CAR-T trials, ensuring regulatory compliance and ethical integrity throughout.

Alongside this, Amelia acts as a Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) nurse specialising in the safe administration and management of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted anti-cancer therapies across multiple active clinical trials.

A member of the NIHR ATIMP group and with almost 20 years of nursing experience at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Amelia acts as a clinical educator for staff in ATIMP and CAR-T delivery, as well as providing support to patients and families undergoing advanced therapy trials.
