Getting here

We welcome visitors including children and young people who arrive with research participants, providing that:

• an adult always supervises any babies or younger children that cannot be left unattended
• visitors are not sick or have any signs of infections before visiting

We recognise that some children can find the visit distressing, therefore we advise that they bring something with them to keep them entertained and to keep noise levels down for the benefit of other patients.

Parking at the hospital is extremely limited, however there are some parking spaces situated in front of the Clinical Trials Facility.  These need to be booked in advance by your research team, so please speak to them to arrange this.

If you are a Blue Badge permit holder, you can park at the hospital for free.  There are around 20 marked Blue Badge parking spaces and the maximum stay is 4 hours.

We encourage you to travel via public transport where possible. The nearest rail stations are Denmark Hill and Loughborough Junction, with TfL bus services from Elephant & Castle, Brixton and Oval tube stations.

• Please take the lifts or stairs opposite the Hambledon Wing entrance of King’s College Hospital to the 1st floor of the Cheyne Wing
• Turn left out of the lifts / staircase and continue along the main corridor until you reach the main entrance of the CRF
