Our facilities
The NIHR King’s Clinical Research Facility (CRF) comprises three main research facilities: Experimental Medicine Facility, Clinical Trials Facility and the Cell Therapy Unit.
Each area has been designed and built to complement the other in terms of ability to offer a unique and neutral space to carry out trials in a dedicated research setting.
Experimental Medicine Facility
Housed over two floors, with the lower ground floor also including our Neuroimaging suite.
Clinical Trials Facility
A state-of-the-art facility for commercially sponsored clinical trials, and can be used for both day usage, overnight stays and if required, longer-term stays.
Cell Therapy Unit
Complex and sophisticated Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Unit for the manufacture of human cell and gene-based therapies.
